Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you do not need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. What is Counselling?
When you contact us, we will usually arrange an initial conversation to discuss what is bringing you to counselling, answer any questions you may have, and explore how we may be able to help. There is no pressure to commit to ongoing sessions during this first contact.
Many people find that simply talking things through with someone understanding can make the process of seeking support feel less overwhelming. Our aim is to help you feel informed, comfortable, and supported from the very beginning.

How Counselling Can Help

Saturday: By appointment

If you are unable to attend during these times, please let us know when you get in touch, and we will discuss whether alternative arrangements may be possible.
Face-To-Face & Online
We offer both face-to-face counselling from our Newark office and online sessions, allowing you to choose the approach that feels most comfortable and accessible. Online counselling can be particularly helpful if you live outside Newark, have caring responsibilities, health difficulties, or simply prefer the convenience of attending from home.
Whether meeting in person or online, our aim remains the same: to provide a confidential, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood.

Areas We Commonly Support
People contact us for many different reasons, including anxiety and depression, stress and burnout, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, trauma, self-esteem and confidence issues, and significant life changes. We work with adults, young people, couples, families, and workplaces across Newark and the surrounding communities.
If you are unsure whether counselling is right for you, please feel free to ask. We are always happy to discuss your situation and help you consider the options available.
